Product is being price gouged!! I know product is discontinued, never could find out why!!

Disappointed with Clairol
1 of 1 found this helpful This is or may I say was, an excellent product that I've used for years & recommended to many friends that had brunette or red hair. Was buying at Sally Beauty Products until I was told they stopped carrying it because it wasn't a big seller. Duh, how can you sell something if it's not on the shelf. Ok, found another outlet, that I purchased by the case. Then they ran out. I found a company in Texas that was suppose to have a case, ordered, paid, then 3 days later I received an e-mail that the product was discontinued. Started searching all over, found one bottle & paid 3 times what I was paying, but I bought it!! Finally, I decided to call Clairol. Never got any conclusive answer why they discontinued the product but basically they weren't selling enough, so brunettes & redheads basically Tuff Luck!! They are still producing the same product for Blonds & Silver but nothing in a shampoo line for brunettes & redheads. Sorry!! Well I think that sucks. Every distributor I spoke to said this product was selling very well until Clairol stop producing it. Seems as it's all about the Blondes!! No more Clairol products for me!! Brunettes & Redheads hair matters!!!
