Not quite as light as expected

I expected this to weigh slightly less than it actually does, however, that may be down to me having unrealistic expectations. However, it's a good fit and certainly sturdy enough to provide good protection. The front will tend to close itself, but its flexible enough to be turned back on itself, which gets it out of the way. The various access holes for the USB lead and headphone sockets are well positioned, as are the On/Off and Volume control areas.

Takes time to get going

Once this tablet is up and running, it's good value for money. The display is clear which, coupled with its size, makes it a good option as an e-book reader (I use the Amazon Kindle app on it). My main gripe is how slow it is on start-up. When booting from a powered-down state, it can take a couple of minutes to reach the log-in screen. There can then be a period of 3 or 4 minutes when it's quite unresponsive (presumably while it's checking for updates etc.). After that, it works fine.
