  After sorting out an issue of low res photos not showing enough detail, I am satisfied with a partial refund. And the package did arrive very quickly. The seller was very helpful, and did respond quickly, addressing the issue as I saw it. I look at all the photos presented in a listing, and eBay does allow not only uploading high res pics but even video clips now. The asking price was a bargain even with the damage ... but for the shock of seeing the damage, only upon opening the package.
