Jawbone JAMBOX Universal Portable Wireless Bluetooth Smart Speaker
08 August 2017
Often imitated, never been duplicated.
This isn't the loudest portable Bluetooth speaker on the market. Doesn't have to be, it has a rich, deep, quality sound that I've seen aped by manufacturer after manufacturer, yet they never get it right.
This is the original, the one that started it all, and though it's discontinued, for it's size, there hasn't been a usurper, even from the maker, in all the years since it's introduction.
I continue to be impressed and have bought several of the original Jamboxes over the years and love them. The sound is well rounded and rich, the bass goes so low you'll constantly wonder how the heck it does it, and the run time is excellent! Plenty of other speakers beat it in volume, but that doesn't matter if you're after quality.
I'm sure the Jambox will eventually be eclisped by another make or model, that can finally stand up and wrest the throne away in terms of performance, sound quality, and bass; but that day has yet to arrive.

Just Plain Excellent.
12 of 12 found this helpful This Palm has got some age under it's belt, however, it is still quite a buit faster than even the newest Palm T|x and is only marginally (400mhz vs. 416mhz) slower than the T5 or LifeDrive.
Strangly, I have used the T5, the LifeDrive, and the T|x and my T3 seems to out paces them all.
Also, the 64Mb of ram is perfectly sufficent for storing many dozens of applications, I haven't even come close to filling the internal memory of this Palm yet and I have used one for nearly a year and a half now.
The SD slot is handy for storing picture and music, however there is a limit on the capacity of the card you can use in it. The T3 can't write to card over 1 gig, however I have read from numerous 2 and 4 gb cards when using the large screen to preview pictures taken on the road when no computer is available.
The screen is exceptionally crisp and very bright, I almost never use it over half brightness.
Battery life is shorter than many older palms, but is acceptable for the raw speed and huge bright screen.
Metal casing is VERY strong, it's taken several falls that should have proven fatal yet it still works perfectly. I also have had zero trouble with the slider. I know many people mention loose screws
Built in Bluetooth is very handy and while it would have been nice to have Wi-fi as well, it's not really missed.
Overall, a lightly used or a like new for 170-250 dollars with an acessory or two is WELL worth the money.
You won't be disappointed with this excellent Palm.
