Glad I did not overspend for thunderbolt
1 of 1 found this helpful Was looking to spend more on thunderbolt but this is what GC had in stock. Super stable. Unnoticeable latency when tracking drums. Keep in mind I have a 12th gen Intel PC which allows for low buffer settings. Great sounding conversion. Sturdy feel and overall build. Really nice surprise is input level trim which is really useful for outboard preamps and makes gain staging super easy. My recordings sound much better than my more expensive interface that died.

Does it all!
If you want one remote for both bluetooth and infrared devices this one does it all. You will need a decent wifi home network and have some patience learning to program but once its set up you can even hook up Alexa or other voice control devices for voice commands. If I only needed infra red I would probably use a cheaper harmony remote without a hub but the Companion is top notch.
