Reliable, great features, easy to use.

Resolution and field of view are sufficient for my needs, has good mic pickup as well as intercom capabilities, and the night vision is good and bright. Also: doesn't connect to the internet which is a HUGE plus for me.

Possibly the last great MacBook Pro...

Replaced a similarly specced early 2011 MB Pro (that was still going strong, but starting to show its age) with this one when the 2016 MBP was announced (I hate dongles and don't need an emoji bar). The main improvements for me were the better GPU, the lighter weight, and the gorgeous retina screen. For an i7, 16GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD, and a 2GB dedicated GPU the $1,800 I got it for was an absolute steal. Absolutely recommend. The 2016, not so much...

The best offset flip up iron sights you can buy

There's really no equal to Magpul in the flip up sight market right now. Pros: -Fit & finish is top notch -Detents and dials are nice and firm. Nothing is moving unless you want it to, but it's not too hard that you have to worry about fumbling with it either. -The posts themselves are the perfect height to ensure your line of sight will clear any accessories you may also have mounted. -Alloy construction and powder coating makes them more durable than polymer versions. Cons: -Pricey for what they are, but kinda worth it anyway.
