If cooking with 2 or more ingredients, using a calculator is a must to understand this book...
NOTE: 12 grams of RAW oatmeal is one third a typical serving: 40g of raw oatmeal (or 394 grams "cooked" oatmeal).
Basically this book is not very helpful for cooking recipes because it requires you to measure the individual ingredients AFTER it is cooked (in many cases). That is simply not practical.
However, with a calculator handy and a Volume to Weight conversion chart it can be used for making recipes from scratch. Regardless, it is a pain.
I would recommend the concept to everyone, however the execution is hard to follow. :(
