Good but small

It seemed to be well made, but the XL didnt fit me i am 6ft 200 lb. It was too short.

too many settings

its a fine instrument, seems bright enough for what i paid for it, and it runs on either the 18650 or a AAA pack. But it has 5 settings you have to run through each time you fire it up (I prefer to run it on the brightest setting) and it gets tiresome if you use it intermittently to save power. but still a great cheap light.
