Image stabilisation at a good price
I read a lot of reviews before buying this. I already have a Nikon 18-200 but wanted the extra zoom for wildlife etc. I had considered the 700-300 Nikon but this Tamron had better reports PROVIDED I chose the upgraded VC (vibration compensation) version. I have not had a chance to use it yet at its full range and I will update this review later.
