What Your 5th Grader Needs to Know
Are you smarter than a 5th grader? This book can help you if you think you're not as smart as a 5th grader. For the most part, this boook provides a thorough overview of the information your child will need to successfully pass the 5th grade. The information is presented in an easy to follow format that will allow you, the adult, to stay with - or ahead of what your child is learning. Also, I recommend this entire "Core Knowledge" series for any home schoolers and potential teachers.

Best Test Prep for the MSAT
1 of 1 found this helpful The MSAT is no longer the test used to get teaching credentials in California. So, the best use for this book is to self-learn and assess your skills in a variety of elementary subjects. Although it does not offer current guarantees that you will pass a teaching assessment exam, it does offer valid tutoring in math, english, and other base knowledge needed to pass the current multiple subject teaching tests.

What Your 6th Grader Needs to know
1 of 2 found this helpful This entire Core Series is a smart way to study for teaching/credential exams, which is why I became interested. Specifically, the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade levels provide a thorough overview of the information you will need to pass the major teaching exam (CSET, CBEST). The information is presented in an easy to follow format that will allow you, the adult, to stay with - or ahead of what your child is learning. Also, I recommend this series for any home schoolers.
