Though this version of the M310 is a 'unifying' mouse it came with a 'nano' controller and not a 'unifying' controller. If you want to use it with a 'unifying' controller that you may already have then you will need to use the newer 'LogiOptions+' software to customize the mouse, the old 'LogiOptions' and/or 'SetPoint' software you may already be using won't work with this mouse to customize middle button and etc. Annoying, but once you figure that out the mouse works as expected for a M310.
