049 Diesel Surestart - Customized Cox .049 Model Airplane Engine

Nice diesel version of the ever popular Cox .049 reed valve engine. This one comes with a propeller spinner which looks good a and strenghtened crankshaft to cope with the knock from diesel ignition. Easily converted to glow ignition (just change the diesel top with a standard Cox glow plug head if you need or want to). As a diesel it will turn a larger propeller than a similar glow plug engine, thereby reducing noise. It is a well made sports engine of proven design. Since all parts are available as spares, this engine can have a long life.
