Original accessories for the JetPik
These work perfectly with Jetpik handles - have been using them for years and no complaints.

If you buy one wildlife book...
I've spent the last 15 or 20 years photographing wildlife as hobby; as part of this you develop a deep appreciation for the animals and a natural curiosity for how they behave. I have a heap of books on trees, birds etc etc but this book is, without doubt, the single most useful book I own on the subject.
Given that this is actually a reference book, it's actually readable from cover to cover. When I first read it, I thought the format was a little "messy" in that you will find references to a particular animal throughout the book, however I have come to appreciate it and would recommend the book without reservation.
If you're even slightly curious about African wildlife, and especially if you are going to spend any length of time on safari or regularly visiting places like the Kruger National Park in South Africa, this is the book to read before you go.
Finally, many (but not all) of the game drive vehicle drivers in the public national parks are actually not particularly knowledgeable; they have picked up a few facts to "wow" the tourists, but often they are way off the mark. Rather use and trust this book... Note that this does not apply to rangers / guides who do trails on foot or who work in the private reserves; they are generally excellent sources of knowledge.
Mark.

Without a doubt the most convenient device, especially if you travel.
This is my 4th Jetpik (which also reveals my only criticism of the previous models I have owned - the JP200 and JP201: the internal battery does not have a good lifespan, and the internal pump loses power over time).
It's clear that the JP210 is a later design (one less external switch, but better functionality) so I am expecting that both the battery issues as well as the pump losing power over time have been addressed in this model.
If you compare the JetPik to other devices on the market (such as WaterPiK), you will note that all of them have large, cumbersome stands for the water reservoir. Some "portable" models still have a comparatively large water reservoir attached to the device itself.
The key differentiatiors for JetPik are the ability to use floss-cartidges, being chargeable via USB, and the winner: being able to use almost any container as a water reservoir. I cannot tell you how convenient this is when travelling. The fact that the unit also doubles as a (great) electric toothbrush is an added bonus.
I recommend this unit - it is better than the alternatives; just build in the view that you may have to replace it every 2 years.
