works, but there is always a but
1 of 2 found this helpful The item itself was 100% functional but even though the serial numbers matched up from the existing one I took out of my home unit when I installed the new unit they were not the same so the two devices were not married so I cannot play video games due to copyright issues that Xbox has incorporate in their equipment to communicate but the unit does play DVDs so I'm not exactly sure how that happens when you get the exact same component that they don't work but it did not in to marry the two was not worth it the repair itself is not worth it throw your old one away and buy a new one its not worth the time energy or aggravation the only have an xbox that plays movies and that's it

It's cheap
The OEM design as much better for fitment they're tighter and forgiving this particular filter were you have filters in one that has to recess up into a cavity it really helps the exact fitment to hold it tightly and also the channel grooves are much cheaper and flimsier on this model versus OEM
...
It's 50% savings but it's quite a bit of a headache versus the correct filter it will work it uses poor fitment

Far better than the original
It's only been through a half a dozen charge cycles but so far it's holding steady
