Perfect fit for my previous hard drive. ...

Perfect fit for my previous hard drive. However, not obvious how to open the case without breaking it. Peel & stick pads included but no instructions as to how they are to be used.

Same as original in all respects.

Exact duplicate made by OEM with all the same parameters. Surprised to find it available 10 years after original purchase. Works great! The only change HP should have made was to add some cooling fins or heat dissipater. I believe main reason for original failure was caused by heat, so I've set up a simple jig to allow max air flow around the charger body.
