World Without End By Ken Follett (2007)
2 of 2 found this helpful As usual, Ken Follett does his historical homework. This is somewhat of a sequel to Pillars of the Earth. This looks at the town of Kingsbridge and its occupants after the cathedral has been established. It makes for fascinating reading. His development of the characters, both good and evil, always builds a better understanding of the times and their impact on human nature.
I have enjoyed many of his books.

Short Straw by Stuart Woods
3 of 3 found this helpful Stuart Woods has introduced some new characters in this book. As always, there are plot twists and interesting opportunities.
I bought it because it was written by Stuart Woods. I have read almost everything he has written starting with "Orchid Beach". He never lets me down.
I like that he doesn't stay with only winning characters like Stone Barrington but is free to expand to new characters with different histories. He knows how to tell a story.
Enjoy it!

A Dangerous Fortune by Ken Follett
1 of 1 found this helpful Ken Follett always does his homework on his novels. He makes you feel like you are there at the time. He gets you involved in the lives of his characters.
He always has a way of tying up any loose ends.
It's a great read.
