took me back more years than i care to admit to :o)
1 of 1 found this helpful wow! many years ago i saved like crazy to buy this (my first) album. i was on a wage of 13p an hour!!!!
i was listening with my partner to a his latest morrissey album and was amazed to hear him singing 'i was dancing when i was 8, is it strange to dance so late......' excitedly i screamed - that's from t-rex, electric warrior!!!!
the next weekend we were clearing out my garage (my partner has an ambitionto get my car into my garage) and i came across my (old, damp in some cases moldy) ancient album collection........ and there it was - t-rex and electirc warrior...... my mission was on
i found, i bid, i won and in less than 48hours it was blasting out in my home, from my car and i was giddy.
i was sceptical, could a cd sound as good as my first album, would i be as enamoured by the tunes...... ha ha ha i was in there with it. every word. i was ready for the next track - transported back in time.
i don't even know what day it was yesterday however - marc (with a 'c' not a 'k') bolan made 37yrs disappear in the time it took me to hit play :o)
if you want foot tapping nostalgia - this is my recommendation - go for it
