the cat sat on the mat!
it's like the horrible history of nursery rhymes, the only thing in this book i found wrong, was about dr foster, in the version i originally heard, that made poetic sense and was related to the lack of sewage: dr foster went to gloucester, in a shower of rain, he stepped in a 'piddle'. right up to his middle, and never went there again. i rest my case! but great fun reading, and political correctness is replaced with historical accuracy.
