calvin and hobbes complete collection
1 of 3 found this helpful I bought this set from Barnes and noble Inc. on eBay the shipping box looked like it had been kicked or something but fortunately the actual book set had no damage to it so I got lucky but ups needs to be more gentle with there packages as for the set its self it seems to be well made there are however some minor blemishes on the pages from some sort of factory mishap they aren't bad blemishes and some are barely noticeable none of the blemishes are on the comic strips them selves so for me its not a big deal as I was already aware that on some of the 1st edition soft bound there was minor light brown or orangish color smudged In little speckles hear and there but again not on the comics themselves the comic strips are clean crisp and on high-grade paper I am going to really enjoy this set. for any Calvin and Hobbes fan this set is a delight I and I highly recommend this set I would however steer clear of the hard bound set unless you can find it with sewn binding because the pages will fall out if it is the glued version which is what was done for the first printing in hard bound the set I bought was the four volume soft cover which has glued binding as well but with it being four volumes instead of three the pages in each book is reduced therefore reducing the pressure put on the binding glue so it should hold up just fine but as this is a collector set I recommend using very gently
