lightly silvered brown plastic
This visor whilst fitting the helmet, is of only very light tinting (you can still see through from the outside) and is on a brown plastic base. Would be ok for overcast days only but not for bright sun or night.

Simple visual Indicator
Simple unit that gives you basic information of the current room / environment.
No indoor / Outdoor function but for the price, it's OK

Flexible, very tough and lights up things nicely
As a caravaner looking for multi use items, this allows for wide spread light at two levels ideal from outside general "flood". When I need to look for something with any distance, it performs really well shines up objects hundreds of metres away. I also got this one (i'm sure there's better) because my other tools are 18v Milwaukee so only one battery and charger set required. As with all goo named tools, they're a little dearer that the rest (not really sure why) but satisfies my need. The rotating head allows for positioning regardless of how the body is placed. So, for a good searchlight.floodlight and all round robust lighting solution, this one works.
