should be called a "Rug Scratcher"
0 of 1 found this helpful I have and Aussie and a Rat Terrier. I know the Terrier hairs can be difficult to remove because they're short and sort of bristle. But it does a very poor job of picking up the longer, fine, Aussie hairs. I do not have a shag rug, unless you live in the 70's, my rug is very short nap, but the hairs lay on top. All this product did was scratch my rug but picked up few hairs. After using this in one particular area I went over the same area with my hand rubbing on top of the carpet and gathered a fist full of hairs. Bottom line don't waste you Money!!!
