La Riche Directions Semi-Permanent Hair Colour Dye - Intense & Vivid

This is the hair dye of choice for most.
Love Directions hair dye. Such a great range of colours, you can even mix them together and start to create your own. I personally find that my colour (over bleached hair) stays vivid for about 4-6 washes, washing in cold or lukewarm water once a week - that's over a month of nice hair and that's pretty decent! Even after that, the colour will only fade so far, and you'll be left with soft pastel colour for months that will never fully disappear. Even when my hair is 3-4 months in and my colour is super faded and I think it looks a bit average I still get heaps of compliments on it!
If you wash your hair too frequently you need to understand that is the reason your colour doesn't last long, and acknowledge that you will need to colour it more frequently if you like to keep it looking fresh.
Long story short, this colour is great if you look after it.
