You get a lot in this package
1 of 1 found this helpful I like the fact that you get two yoga workouts; the first disc focuses on neck and shoulders and the other is a longer, more in-depth DVD focusing on relieving back pain. On this last disc, Desiree Rumbaugh talks about how posture or body misalignment can lead to muscle imbalances; which in turn, cause strain in the lower back. The poses in these DVDs are supposed to help you with that. She provides excellent cuing for each posture. Glad I have this in my collection.

Just what I was looking for
This video contains a restorative type of yoga on it. Exactly what I was hoping for. Thanks for the fast fulfillment!

Expert Yoga Instruction
You get 3 discs in this DVD package. It seems to be more of a yoga teacher or enthusiast training, but that's alright. You get a lot of yoga demonstrations - all very expertly cued by John Friend and some of the yoga clocks in at over an hour or two. I like that on one of the discs, John shows how to push yourself, maybe with the help of someone else to aid you - to reach into the poses you maybe didn't think you could. I look forward to trying! The fact that this is a gathering or a retreat means everyone there is quite a bit into yoga. As a viewer, it almost gives the feeling of being there, which was unexpected and kind of cool. On a side note, there is a leaning towards the spiritual, which is also ok... just some of it, at times, is a bit much for me (chanting) but I'm sure this appeals to somebody else out there. Overall, great value.
