Cotton Carrier CCS G3 Camera Harness System For 2 Cameras - Charcoal Grey

It is a must for every landscape and bird watching photographer
My current equipment consist of a Canon 70D, 70-200mm 2.8L ii + 1.4 Extender iii. Haven't put the stuff on a scale, but I would guess it is about 2 1/2 kilos. You just can't carry this around for a long hike without proper storage. You could of course use photo equipment rucksacks, but that would mean to get the rucksack of your back and get the camera out, before you can make a shot. By that time, the object of interest is likely gone. Totally different with the Cotton Carrier. Within 2-3 seconds your camera is in your hand and ready for shooting. For the rest of the time the hands are free, whilst the camera is perfectly safe. It was by far the best investment into my list of camera accessories. Admittedly the Cotton Carrier is not cheap, but it is certainly of very good quality and totally worth the money. There is only one slightly negative point (an expected one I must add), if you live in or travel into a warmer climate, you will sweat a little more.

BIF shooting must have
I'm visiting Norway as I write this review and as part of the journey I went on an eagle safari. I have a Canon EOS 70D (crop factor 1.6) and used the 1.4 III Extender with the Canon 70-200mm 2.8L Mark II lense. So I ended up with the equivalent of a 448mm lense. Just about right for BIF photography. I achieved excellent results. I shot some superb images with no visible softness compared to the 200mm lense without extender. The two are perfectly atuned for each other.

Record fast delivery
I bought the HTC Desire HD on Thursday afternoon and on Tuesday (today, 7 DEC 2010) just 3 work days later I received the phone in Malta. Considering that we have Xmas soon this delivery time deserves to get into the Guinness Book of Records; well, it is certainly the fastest delivery I experienced so far. Happy Xmas :-) As to the phone, the HTC Desire is the best phone I have ever purchased. If there is anything to complain, then that battery live is a bit short when the phone is used heavily (6-8 hours). However, considering what the phone does, one probably cannot ask for more. The camera (still shot) is excellent if you have sufficient light. A problem (as with most phone camera's) are twilight situation. The flash isn't sufficient and the auto focus takes to long to calculate the right shot. I found that disabling auto focus improves it a bit. The video quality on the other side is fantastic. The phone's processor is extremely fast. Most apps run very smooth, and the screen is very responsive. Sound is a bit on the low side, though this seems not to be a hardware issue, but one of the default media player software. There are free media player apps available that do improve the sound to a level that one cannot complain any longer.
