A No Nonsense, Direct Way of Writing!
David Morell is a writer who can pack a lot of details in a no nonsense, direct way of writing. He doesn't skirt around the action, he brings it full force, and the characters that he's created in Brotherhood of the Rose are complex, and very real.
The story of the relationship between Saul, Chris and Elliot are intricately put together, and the betrayal made that much more brutal how clearly the characters are written.
The description of the action and knife fight in particular I found I could picture in my head. To say the very least this is a well put together novel in its genre and doesn't recieve near the praise that it deserves!
I've spent years hunting this novel down, and I'm so thrilled to finally own a copy. I'd recommend it to anyone!
