Doesn't compare to Karaoke Revolution
Note: I am reviewing the product that has been officially released in the US. This is NOT the UK product I am reviewing. Yes, you get to see the original music videos that accompany the songs. And yes, your voice gets recorded by the microphone so you can play it back. But that's pretty much all the plus sides to owning this horribly done game. The microphones are not compatible with other karaoke games AND the game isn't backwards compatible with other microphones. So there's no way around buying the entire package. The game comes with about 30 songs. You can't unlock anymore. Once you have sung them, you're done. The songs are also poorly chosen. Unlike Karaoke Revolution, the songs are either recognizable OR they aren't, based on what generation you came from. They are either SUPER OLD or SUPER NEW. So it isn't really a family fun game because the adults will get about 10 songs to choose from, the kids will get about 8, and everything else in the middle is stuff you've never heard before. The game gets old fast. Really, the only point is to raise your score. You can't unlock characters, new songs, new features, or anything. So you just keep singing the same song over and over and over again until you get better at it. It won't happen. The screen set up is really confusing and it becomes difficult to understand what notes you should sing, how fast you should sing, what parts of the song you did great on, where you should improve....etc. Basically, it's confusing and poorly organized. Bottom line, buy Karaoke Revolution. There's a reason why SingStar goes for cheap on Ebay and why so many people bid on Karaoke Revolution. It's just a better game in general. SingStar is a HUGE WASTE OF MONEY.

America's Next Top Model DVD is NOT of TOP quality
While the aspects of the show can be debated on and off for quite some time, the quality of the DVD production itself, cannot. It is a sad fact that this DVD series was NOT made to high production standards. Firstly, the DVDs were manufactured in Mexico and are double sided. Because of this, the chance of you receiving a series set with one or more flawed discs is VERY HIGH. In renting alone, I had to return TWO separate discs because they refused to play (this was tested on multiple players and game consoles). Furthermore, the sound is poor. Music is typically louder than voices; forcing one to lower or raise the volume accordingly. Lastly, the editting of the show itself is choppy. I didn't count exactly, but Tyra Banks states "Congratulations, you are still on your way to becoming America's Next Top Model" more than 100 times total. This will annoy the average person and make the fast forward option a quick friend. Overall, unless you are a fanatic about the show, I would suggest renting to keep yourself safe. There are no MUST SEE extras on this DVD that you are missing; so if you have seen the show in its entirety on television, don't waste the time or money buying this product.

Very good game overall, BUT SOME ASPECTS POORLY DONE
It looks like much of what makes the game amazing has been highlighted already. So let me vent a few of my frustrations and share a small critique, so if you are interested in purchasing it, you'll know what to expect. First, let me soften the blow by including the fact that the gameplay graphics are usually very well done and I absolutely love how Squaresoft and Disney incorporated all the great Disney classics into an independent plot. There's also a few Final Fantasy characters squeezed into the mix (what did you expect). But yes, it is more Disney than anything else. The English dubbing is very good (though the characters look chopping when speaking) EXCEPT for the fact that the main character, Sora, speaks like an idiot. They picked the worst voice actor to fill that position. Everything that comes out of Sora's mouth is over emphasized, predictable, inane, immature, and just plain annoying. If you have ever watched a poorly done anime show in English, that's the same annoyance you'll feel everytime your main character speaks. WEAK. Also, in an attempt to squeeze in every possible game genre, this game gives you the option of "tricking out" your space mobile. Let me tell you that this is the worst aspect of the game. First of all, the spaceship is just blocks of solid color. When you fly, the depth perception is horrible!!! The first Starfox game had a better ship and better flight graphics. You have to deal with this when you move between planets for the first time so you think they would have focused more on this. The 3D outer space environment is poor and cheap. Lastly, if you were expecting this to be like a normal roleplaying game (Final Fantasy style), you are mistaken. You cannot control the accompanying members of your party. You can manually change how often your characters do something BUT you cannot control what they will do and when they will do it. If you leave his personal settings on, Goofy may waste the potions you have purchased unnecessarily. Donald usually lags when it comes to healing you. Lastly, you have to manually target your own magic attacks if you use them or there's a high chance you'll miss. Be aware of this if you choose to be a mage. In any case, this is the best game Disney has put out in a while. Obviously, that's because this isn't a game meant to mirror the plot of a movie. So the creators had a lot to stretch and a lot of imagination to work in. For the most part, a decent story with decent character development and deeply engrossing gameplay.
