George Macdonald by C. S. Lewis
2 of 2 found this helpful I've loved everything C.S. Lewis has ever written, and now I love what George Macdonald has written. Both men are blindingly intelligent and adept at sharing their thoughts and beliefs in words that the rest of us can understand. They give us insight into ourselves (not always comfortable) and others. Makes one think, "Now why didn't I already know that?!" They help me to keep believing that there is hope for mankind.

The Daughter of Time
This is a rare copy of one of the first editions of this paperback about Richard III, and has the best likeness of him on the cover that I have ever seen. (I wish I knew the source of this cover picture.) Like the author of this book, I believe R III was a good man and a successful king until he was murdered by Henry Tudor and England's history was re-written to please Henry. I have the same book already and I have read it many times over the years until it is quite worn. This pristine copy is priceless to me.
