Best of Janis Joplin Collections
3 of 3 found this helpful I took a chance on this CD because I have been looking for a raw non-studio effort by Joplin & The Holding Company rendition of 'Cry Baby','Piece of my Heart' & 'Me and Bobby McGee' and I found just what I was looking for with this CD. This is Joplin as I remember her back in the seventies when she really sung her heart out & made the songs stick inside yer' head. Lots of emotion here if you like that bluesy,gritty beltin' out a song type stuff.

Three Dog Night Super Hits Live CD
This is one of,if not the best reunion concerts I've ever heard. Reunion concerts typically are a disappointment but this cd is definitely a good investment if you are now or were ever a fan of three dog night in the past. Not only do they perform their hit songs,they do them well.Definitely worth a listen.

J.GEILS LIVE ' FULL HOUSE'

& 'First I Look at the Purse' are two excellent examples of J.GEILS' hi-energy balls to the wall music they were known for early on.If your'e not familiar with J.GEILS or want to hear some hi-revvin' feel good music,try this one on for size,it won't disappoint. Well worth the $.
