Well researched historical romance. A very good read.
Well researched historical romance. Nice twists and turns that make for a thrilling read. I have read most of Sara Lucks books and have added her to my must get author's list. I have corresponded with Sara with historical facts that would help her and she likes to correspond with her readers. Highly recomended

back in the days....
Having been born in Brooklyn, New York, although about 13 years later than the last photo appearing in the book, I wanted to see photos of places I had heard about from parents and grandparents. I am totally delighted with the quality of the book. Geographically areas all over Brooklyn were drepresented by the photos and important buildings, parks, were included. There wer many photographs which showed people going about their daily routines, giving the reader an an excellent idea of how it was to live and work and relax back then.

Hard for history buffs to put down.
June 1962 I comissioned the USS HUnley. There was a plack that told the story of H.L.Hunley and his submarine. It perked my intrest in what had happened to the H.L.Hunley. The book does an excelent job of answering questions about what happened that fateful night. I highly recomend this book for submarine, Civil war, and sea mistery buffs. It is a well researched and written book that starts in the middle then goes back to the begining and follows from the start of Hunleys desigining submarines thru the loss to the finding, recovery, and preservation. A very good read.
