Silence of the North
0 of 1 found this helpful This is an amazing, true story about a Strong woman's fight for survival in the wildnerness, and throughout all of the struggles in her life, encounters with wild animals, family deaths, and more..she stays a strong woman, and never gives up. This story is about a distant reletive of mine (on my mothers' side of the family), so I hold it close to my heart, and look at her life and strength as an example to live by. In the Summer of 2002 my mother, father, and I retraced the steps of Olive Fredrickson throughout Canada, and had an amazing journey along the way. We even met some of our distant reletives which we never knew we had!
