Right for the price
Got the AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 3.1 GHz for Dell Inspiron 531s. This is the best chip available for this particular machine. The truest test for any processor is having it calculate processes outside its element: in my case the Playstation 2 emulator. While this processor will never replace the need to buy a modern computer; for the price, the processing speed is very close to running Playstation 2 emulator at a decent speed. That's saying something for machine over a decade old and running a heavy cpu reliant emulator.
