A must in any Civil War collection.
I had recorded the series when it first aired. The quality was compromised and recording stops were erratic. The restored copy met all my expectations. There are no editing distractions, the story follows my understanding of the war with many valuable additions, and the interviews provided added and helpful commentary. The huge collection of vintage photos for me was a major draw to the series.
