Good safe but skip the fingerprint scanner.

I bought this for my vehicle due to having late night working hours. The safe is great for a small concealed gun (without holster). All of its’ features are good EXCEPT the fingerprint access. If your finger(s) are not placed just right you get the error tone. By the time this happens twice you could have just used the keypad. If you need quick access, that could be a big problem. However, to get the BT battery monitoring on your phone I believe this may be your only option. I needed this as I want to leave the safe in my vehicle and know when to recharge the battery.

Excellent unit

Installed in a 2000 Mercedes ML 320 Pros: Connects with my phone over BT within seconds of entering my vehicle. I don't even take the phone out of its holster. Also, the USB cable coming out of the back is awesome. Why worry about an ipod interface when you can put all of your MP3s on a 16 GB thumb drive and have the same result. I ran my cable into the glove box so it is out of sight but easy to access. Just think for around ~$200 I have a hands free over the radio phone connection and a 100+ disk changer. This radio is a must! Cons: None yet!
