psychological masterpiece
This is a superb study of character-both antagonist and protaganist. Very well done.

unexpected
1 of 1 found this helpful While I knew this story as a Jane Austen fan, I had not read it more than once or twice. Seeing this film was delightful a lthough I believe Fanny could have been casted a bit better. Billie Piper is talented but, in my opinion, was not a good choice for this role. Edmund, however, was perfect.
