Wallander - just as good as the books
We're thoroughly enjoying the four series set of Wallander DVDs - the acting and script are superb
Faithful interpretation of the Mankell books - where the story has to be condensed through time constraints it's still plausible and consistent.

Great way to introduce the works of Shakespeare to anyone 7+
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a great way to introduce the works of Shakespeare to younger readers and theatre goers. Come to think of it, its ideal for older folk too as it gives you some understanding of the story before you see the play. We have a number of the books in this series and I recommend them all. Our grandaughter is passionate about Egyptology which has now led onto an interest in other ancient civilisations. This book was eagerly anticipated and did not disappoint. The size of the volume makes it very manageable for young hands. Recommended for anyone from 7 upwards.
