Love this mouse!
Been using the same “Mazer Blue” mouse for 5 years now and, although it still works great, I needed something with better feeling buttons and I liked the idea of being able to adjust so much about how the Rival 310 performs via the SteelSeries software so I decided to get one.
This thing is dope. Out of the box, it works perfectly, but you can fine tune it to your preferences using the SteelSeries engine. Sure, you can set two preset sensitivities that toggle with the click of a center button on the mouse, but another game changer is angle smoothing: this let’s you essentially tell the mouse “if I’m moving horizontally with the mouse, ignore slight vertical movements to a certain extent”. I can see why this might be huge to some FPS players, but personally I dont use it bc I felt like it would take too much time to get used to.
Anyway, this is a super well-priced mouse and I highly recommend it to somewhat novice-intermediate FPS gamers like myself.
