Ford F350 Super Duty Amerillo
2 of 2 found this helpful Four weeks ago I purchased the Ford F350 SD Turbo diesel with the Amarillo package. I fell in love with the screaming yellow color and the Amarillo Trim. It has leather seats, sunroof, billet grill, LED tailights and third brake light along with LED sidemarker, DVD player, shortbed and 20" wheels. The vehicle has Rhino liner and undercoating.
I bought the vehicle for it's appearance and accessories without ever having driven one before. I was pleasantly surprised and really impressed with the ride and power of the Turbo 6.0L when I went to pick it up. There's ample of room in front and back for 6foot plus passenger. The 4 wheel drive worked flawlessly in the 5 inches of snow that we just received.
I am using the truck for everything from picking up couple bails of hay, hauling mulch, going to the movies, driving the family around to ball games, etc. Most of the driving will be around town and probably never off road. The only downfall is that its too high for my mother-in-law to climb up on, so we have to use our Tribeca when we have her along.
I plan to install a snowplow on it before next winter and hopefully find some LED mud lights to light up the ground around the sides when getting in or exiting the truck in the dark, like those on my Tribeca.
