For fairly old architecture it's great. Big bang for little bucks!
Got this for a PC that I was building for my wife for her Christmas present, to get her off of an ancient HP Pavillion 1.3GHZ system. She seems very pleased with this. I haven't been too impressed with benchmarks I've seen online with this processor when compared to my 9750 which is only .2GHZ faster, but it still performs very well. This was purchased NIB for about $61 including shipping, so who can complain about that, for a quad core that runs decent? I'll be replacing my 9750 with an AMD Phenom II 945 95W C3 CPU in another week, so my current 9750 will replace this 9550 in my wife's computer, and I'll keep the 9550 in my backup computer. Nice piece of hardware to have kicking around.

For something as important as ABS, use OEM parts!
Easy to install and corrected the problem with my ABS light coming on and my brakes not correctly working. Stops on a dime now.

$60 CPU scores a 7.0 in Windows 7 Experience rating without OCing.
I got this CPU used for $56. For the money, this little CPU romps. I'll be replacing this CPU with a Phenom II 945, but I don't expect monstrous changes in doing so. I just want to max out my little AM2+ board since I've already sucessfully flashed my BIOS. Let me tell you, though, that this little processor flies. It scores a flat 7.0 in Windows 7 Experience rating. That's pretty darn tootin' when you consider that it only runs at 95W and I do not overclock it at all. If you have a chance to get one of these at a fair price and you have a MOBO that needs one, grab it and smile all the way home with it.
