A cheap lens which can help you to get wider field, but you lose sharpness
1 of 1 found this helpful It is a very cheap wide angle lens. I use this with my old Canon PowerShot S2 IS (with a special adapter). Now I have a really wide angle on the camera and I have an ability to shoot series for a time lapse video. Optical quality is enough to get 5-Mpix. images. Of course remember, that is a very cheap solution and this lens makes images much "softer" and adds some chromatic aberrations. I can recommend this lens for time lapse shooting and video, i.e. for cases where you have no other "cheap" abilities to get wider field of view. To improve a quality of images I close aperture by 1-2 stops.
For a leisurely and high quality photography I will recommend to compose a panoramic image from few shots to achieve wider angle.
