Simple fighter, fun game.
A Feudal Fairytale is a great experience for Inuyasha and fighting game fans alike. The sprite artwork is beautiful and kind of reminds me of Street Fighter 3's sprite artwork. The game plays as a simplified fighter, but the game still manages to feel a little deep and engaging. While the game's "story mode" (I forgot what it's actually called) isn't really anything to rave about, it's still very satisfying to complete with different characters and unlock new playable ones. I do enjoy the ability to choose your path and fight battles in whatever order. It's also pretty short and makes for a nice pick up and play experience so you can beat it with different characters in rapid succession. The game can be difficult for those looking for a challenge but the difficulty can be adjusted for those who just want an easy fighter. The other modes are enjoyable but I mostly stuck to the games story and versus modes. Overall, I'm really enjoying this game. It's a simple fighter with mechanics that are easy to pick up on. As a fighting game fan, this game is keeping me entertained. As an Inuyasha fan, I'm ultimately pleased. It's a pretty fun game that won't cost you very much. If you're an Inuyasha fan who enjoys fighting games of all kinds, don't miss out on this one!
