Thanks for the glowing feedback! I'm really glad you like the building. I loved it and was quite disappointed that the footprint was it was a bit too large to fit my layout space. I knew someone could make it work - it was just too good a piece for me to just store somewhere.

These Aftermarket Batteries Actually Work!

I've gone through two other Canon camera aftermarket brands before finding these Vivitars. Both of the other battery brands lasted a very, very, frustrating short time between charges. This Vivitar brand lasts just as long as Canon originals at less than half the Canon price,.

One of the Best Pocket Camera's Out There!

With this series it seems Canon has hit upon a near perfect combination of size, image quality and value. In my experience with digital cameras, there seems a best image quality match of pixel count to sensor size. What I've found is the smaller sized sensors of most pocket digitals provide the most vivid images at 10mp and that what may be gained with extra pixels seems to compromise that "oh wow" vividness of image. This Canon with a larger than most sensor has stuck with 12mp and my guess is they've done so to retain its amazing image quality. There are a few other compact cameras with larger sensors, more pixels and other nice features like viewfinders and articulating screens, but they are either not small enough to always easily carry with or a whole lot more expensive. This Canon is a perfect fit for me!
