Better than overlays
Installed on my son’s 2016 4runner. Good quality badges, no issues with adhesive backing on them.
Getting the old badges and the adhesive residue is the hard part.
We taped around original badges before removing the to protect paint when usimg a small soft plastic spatula to pry them off.
The tape also made sure we put the new badges in the exact same location.
Recommend using GooGone tonhelp remove original badge residue.
Use rubbing alcohol to clean up the GooGone to ensure the new badges stick well.
We also took off his roof rails, sanded them down with 120 grit sand paper and painted them black with Krylon satin black. Applied about 5 coats (go light), looks factory. Happy wheeling!
