5 Star read about the real story of the breakup(s) of the Eagles and biography of Don Felder's rise from poverty to success through his love for his guitar and music. Gritty, honest, compelling, no-holds-barred yet written with sincere love for his family--biological and musical. Personality conflicts, constant touring and pressure to outdo previous success, but most of all money issues fueled the demise of the proprietors of the anthems of our youth. Excellent, brutally honest, well-written--a great book for any reader, Eagle fan or not, and a necessity for any budding musicians embarking on the path toward making music a career.
