Outstanding Wide Angle for Sony A7 Series
1 of 1 found this helpful The Zeiss 21mm Loxia has top notch image, build and handling qualities in a small form factor. Focus is very smooth and activates the magnification in the EVF automatically making manual focus accurate and quick. Images are sharp in the center wide open and the edge sharpness is excellent stopped down. The aperture ring can be a little hard to find at times because the ring is thin and the ribbing doesn't stand out from the barrel so it is hard to distinguish by feel alone sometimes. Also, I find that I need to grip the entire barrel firmly when dismounting the lens in order to gain enough purchase on the surface that the rings don't turn in the process. Both issues I can live with for a lens this outstanding in small size and optical performance.
