Heavy Subject Matter - Flawless Performances

My friend recommended this movie to me, so I bought it. As a youngster (born in the '70s), I had never watched this movie. This movie is like 3 hours long, but I swear it does not feel that long AT ALL. My husband had to show me the run time to convince me of the length. From the moment the movie starts, I was hooked. And let me just say, it is worth your time to watch this movie for Montgomery Clift's (very small) performance alone. The tears I shed? Buckets. He was everything. Of course Spencer Tracy was amazing, as was Burt Lancaster and Judy Garland. Oh, and the young (and hot) William Shatner was flawless in his small role, as well. It's just an amazing movie. Buy it.
