Well built and great value
Hard to go wrong with this, given the price. I found loading it for the first time a little tricky, but it's sorted now and works well.

A very good quality Nikon lens for the money
A good lens. It is well-made, quiet in operation and focuses accurately. The vibration reduction facility helps with hand-held shots at the higher end of the zoom, but for best shots you will need a tripod, unless you have enough light for a fast shutter speed. I'm really pleased with it, seems to just 'go' well with my D3400. Note that this lens is designed for DX (cropped) sensor cameras. For the price, it's a very good lens.
I had an aftermarket 70-300 which was good, but was much noisier and a bit 'sloppy', although it did have a handy macro feature which the Nikon does not have.

Excellent product, great value
2 of 3 found this helpful I bought these for my mother. She has arthritis, two replacement knees and a replacement hip. Following several falls at home she has lacked the confidence to walk outside, which further reduces her mobility and increases her weight.
She'd seen walkers go by her home using walking poles so I bought her some - what a great decision. She is delighted with the quality of the poles and delighted to now feel able to walk outdoors. She's not going far yet but she'd building up the distance and using the poles to support her. They give her confidence that she will not fall.
She particularly likes the wrist straps as these provide extra security for her. Overall, very pleased and it's fair to say that the poles are helping my mum to change her life. Yes, sounds over the top, but goes to show what you can achieve with some simple help.
