I got what I requested but didn't bargain on the problems encountered.

I wanted the product to match my existing cordless system. That is why I was looking for a specific older model. When selling electronic items with batteries, the batteries should be removed so they don't corrode just sitting around. All of the rechargeable batteries were bad, so I bought new batteries. It turned out that this phone set was programmed with a different frequency so the handsets would only work with the supplied base. My biggest gripe is that one of the handsets has a screen problem. 3 out of 4 handsets should work fine for my daughter's apartment.
