You can never have too many books about rocks & minerals with pictures etc.
I love this book and recommend it to anyone interested in Rocks/Minerals. I have taught earth science and I run a rock shop. Although some people would call this eye candy. the more pictures you have of rocks/minerals the better you are to identify the ones you fin.d.

Be sure to read the full description, it is not what you think
I needed a full size atlas, this Rand Mcnally atlas is a booklet. Does not have the major cities or the routes I needed to plan a trip and how to navigate either around or through the cities.
It was my fault, I did not read the f-u-l-l description, where it listed the size of atlas that would be coming.
But regardless it does not have enough information about routes around or through cities..
