Samsung J7 Prime, amazing! J7 Prime VS Moto G5 Plus
So I was a huge Motorola fan, I had the Moto G4 plus previously, I really wanted a moto G5 this time around, but the screen size (5’2) didn’t really called my attention, I looked at the J7 Prime, and I instantly knew it was way better. Something no one talks about, the J7 has sensor buttons outside of the screen, and has a bigger screen (5’5) compared to the moto G5, also the blacks, the colors, the sharpness all looks natural and just more amazing on the J7 compared to other phones on this price range.
The moto G5 has a smaller screen and also no sensor buttons, so the screen uses part of it to display buttons and takes out precious screen space, on the J7 prime that isn’t an issue because it has sensor buttons outside of the screen, the screen also looks more responsive on frames per second in comparison to the moto G5. I used an app called octacore booster and increased to max speed and was surprised on how fast the apps run in general, so this will be definitely have more than enough power for everyday use and getting your apps opening fast and running fast, the Moto G5 is almost as fast but Samsung J7 Prime seems faster.
In regard to the cameras they are great, the front is better than Moto G5 because of 8 megapixels and has a flash so it’s perfect for selfies in dark places and the back camera is pretty decent, Moto G5 back camera is better in sharpness and low light situations but the moto G5 camera sticks out very badly from the phones body, this means it’s scratch prone. Also the screen to body ratio on Samsung is way better, the phone is basically the same size as the Moto G5 but has a bigger screen and no camera sticking out of the body, also the 2.5 3d screen means the screen glass feels amazing and looks as a premium phone. In general when you used the J7 Prime if you used the black version you will feel like if it’s a really high profile phone because of its simplicity, it’s feel and because of its incredible screen size and colors thanks to a TFT screen that is much higher quality than most phones on this price.
In conclusion the user experience in general is much better on the Samsung J7 Prime than the moto G5, the screen is really important, is what you will look at most of the time, and the bigger screen, better screen to body ratio and incredible colors and deep blacks means the Samsung is a must have. Also better screen response helps with the general frame rate. The only aspects that the moto G5 is way better is 3d gaming, it’s simply faster and more responsive than the J7, also the J7 does not have gyroscope, so no 3d augmented reality. Other than that I believe the more mature and elegant decision is a phone that feels amazing and has a better user experience overall in most of the activities you use the most daily, and the J7 Prime is far better for everyday use.
