Very good alternitive to a DT400

The LNWI was easy to set up and worked the first time. For an average layout with just a few operators, this can be a big cost savings as most everyone has a smart phone now. What keeps it from 5 stars is the range is mostly line of sight and just shy of the DT400. Once I find the sweet spot, it should cover all corners of my layout. The app I download has more FX function keys than the DT400, a plus but on the minus, it is harder to get the precise slow speed, as the DT400 clicks off one speed steep at a time. Main line use no problem but for the yard I like the DT400. Biggest advantage is every one brings their own controller (smart phone) once they have down loaded the app.

Good replacement

Our first chargeable batteries started to not stay charged all that long. I bought these in part about how they look and the fact you can tell at a distance that they are in charger and are being charged. Our last batteries and charger had a light that only lit behind and did not set well in cradle to charge. These drop in much easier. Nice

Excellent replement tips

I wore out my last good tip. Gave these a try and they are excellent. Clean my screen and they flew over my screen. No pull at all. Just a little tighter fit then my last ones.
